Truth About Vaccines
As
a former research fellow at the National Immunization Program in the Centers
for Disease Control (CDC) and formerly a staunch advocate of vaccines, it pains
me to discover the following facts and to have to share them with you. I wish
that much of it was not true but here goes…
Have
you ever been told that you must vaccinate your children because
it’s the law? The widespread notion
that it’s against the law not to vaccinate your children is entirely FALSE!
In
fact, all 50
states allow a medical exemption to vaccination and all states allow a religious exemption
except Mississippi and West Virginia. 18 states allow exemption to vaccination based on
philosophical, personal or conscientiously held beliefs, including: Arizona,
Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota,
New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington and
Wisconsin.
(Source: http://www.nvic.org/Vaccine-Laws.aspx)
However, according to anti-vaccination activist groups such as the Vaccine
Liberation organization, the American Medical Association and
ChildrensHealthCare.org are actively promoting the abolishment of religious and
philosophical exemptions.
(Source: http://www.vaclib.org/exemption.htm)
This
is against the constitution and a personal violation of your health freedom.
Below
is my summary of important points from a recent article in Natural News, which
is posted at: http://www.naturalnews.com/031389_vaccines_philosophical_exemptions.html#ixzz1YezPAnoi
These facts should be considered carefully before you decide to vaccinate
yourself or your children.
There
are serious questions concerning the reliability of vaccine medical research
and the availability of proven alternatives to conventional immunizations,
which ought to compel state legislatures to provide citizens with the right to
a conscientious exemption from immunizations.
- There is a growing body of medical experts who are speaking out with concerns about vaccines.1 Independent medical research contradicts pro-vaccine research funded by the pharmaceutical industry.
- We are told by the establishment on media clips and by the conventional healthcare system that vaccines are entirely safe. But did you know that in actuality, "No data get collected, and it remains unknown whether vaccination increases the incidence of most [chronic] diseases, particularly rare diseases."2
- The herd immunity theory for which population vaccination practice is based states that if most of a population is immune, the entire population is protected. However, this theory has been shown to be false because disease outbreaks have continued to occur in communities where most of the kids were vaccinated. For example, measles, mumps, small pox, pertussis, polio and Hib outbreaks have all occurred in vaccinated populations.3,4,5,6,7 This fact counteracts the widespread notion that unvaccinated persons somehow become "disease magnets" that "create" or "attract" disease in communities where diseases have been absent for decades, even prior to the introduction of vaccines.
- Homeoprophylaxis is much more effective and has none of the side effects of conventional vaccines. There is considerable amount of clinical evidence showing that HP provides a high level of protection against targeted infectious diseases. (See Table 1 below.)
- A recent Japanese study found that "Vitamin D [is] better than vaccines at preventing flu,"8 and experts say that vitamin D toxicity fears are unwarranted.9
- Reliance on the Pharmaceutical Industry is Severely Misplaced. In December of 2009, the WHO reported: "Corruption in the pharmaceutical sector occurs throughout all stages of the medicines chain, from research and development to dispensing and promotion."10

Did you know that you can look up reports of vaccine side-effects
at a CDC database called VAERS, which is available at: http://wonder.cdc.gov/vaers.html
As for me, all of the above definitely gives me pause to
reconsider whether or not to continue to vaccinate my children. If nothing
else, I simply object to many of the ingredients in the vaccines, including
fact that there are trace amounts of heavy metals in the vaccines which are
harmful to human health, such as aluminum and mercury, harmful chemicals such
as formaldehyde and ammonium, as well as some really disgusting and non-kosher
human and animal byproducts, such as monkey kidney tissue, chick kidney cells,
and human serum albumin which comes from aborted fetuses. If you don’t believe
me, here’s the CDCs own list of ingredients for the vaccines: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/downloads/appendices/B/excipient-table-2.pdf
It’s funny, or sad rather, that in the the two years that I worked
there and even while helping to update the vaccine literature on adult
immunizations, the issue of what ingredients are in the vaccines never came up
as a topic of discussion needing public disclosure. I believe that virtually al
of the people who work at the CDC are well=meaning folks, as are the majority
of healthcare workers who genuinely want to help people by offering them
vaccines. But had I known then that these ingredients were in the vaccines, I
may have been more likely to ask questions and less enthusiastic about
promoting vaccines to the general public as part of my job duties.
HPV Vaccine Facts
Regarding the controversy over the HPV vaccine Gardasil® as discussed in the current GOP presidential debates, according to the CDCs own statistics reported to VAERS, which captures only about 10% of the total adverse events due to vaccination, a total of 18,727 reports of adverse events following Gardasil® vaccination have been received since the vaccine was first introduced, including 68 deaths out of the approximately 35 million doses that have been distributed throughout the U.S.
17,958 of these adverse events occurred in females and 346 reports in males. The vaccine was licensed for males in October 2009. 423 reports were of unknown gender.
Of the total number of VAERS reports following Gardasil®, 92% were considered to be non-serious, and 8% were considered serious, meaning that they led to hospitalization, permanent disability, life-threatening illness, congenital anomaly or death. (Source: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/vaccines/hpv/gardasil.html)
What this boils down to is approximately 1,498 people, mostly young previously healthy teenage girls, who are documented to have been either hospitalized, become permanent disabled, received a life-threatening illness, congenital anomaly or died as a result of the vaccine in America alone! Since only about 10% of adverse events are reported to VAERS, the true figure for this death and disability is probably closer to fifteen thousand!
MMR and Autism Question
Regarding this, I feel that the verdict
is still out, although the circumstances by which Dr. Andrew Wakefield’s 1998
study was removed from the Lancet medical journal and his reputation tarnished
for his research seems definitely suspicious. His study seemed to indicate a connection between the vaccine and autism and was later discredited. See http://www.naturalnews.com/031116_Dr_Andrew_Wakefield_British_Medical_Journal.html
However, the mainstream scientific consensus is that no evidence
links the vaccine to the development of autism, and that the vaccine's benefits
greatly outweigh its risks.
I feel that I personally need to look
more deeply into this before taking a position either way on it, so I would
love to receive your comments about this topic!
Cancer and Vaccines
The rates of cancer have skyrocketed
lately, and it has been postulated that this is no coincidence. There have been
allegations made by Alex Jones and others that the pharmaceutical companies are
involved for years in a conspiracy to add live cancer viruses to all vaccines!
(Source: www.infowars.com live broadcast 9/21/2011) On the
broadcast, “Alex delves into why cancer has risen despite billions in
research and a bevy of vaccines supposedly designed to prevent the illness.” http://www.infowars.com/infowars-nightly-news-the-vaccine-cover-up-implodes-onstar-spying-more/
I recently watched this disturbing
video where Merck vaccine scientist Dr. Maurice Hilleman apparently admits to
SV40 cancer virus knowingly being put into the polio vaccine and to the
creation of the AIDS virus in a laboratory http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaokq8v9JPI
The video was referenced on Natural News at (http://www.naturalnews.com/033584_Dr_Maurice_Hilleman_SV40.html#ixzz1YffStegM)
Please let me know what you
think of the video above and about this whole issue! I would really like to hear from you.
Thanks
Carolyn
